Intermediate and Advanced Stained Glass
Intermediate Stained Glass Class - Copper Foil Method – This class is for participants who have completed Basic Stained Glass, or who demonstrate basic level mastery of pattern preparation, jig preparation, glass scoring and breaking, fitting cut pieces into a jig, grinding, copper foil application, soldering, and cleaning skills. Participants may choose to make a medium sized panel, a box, or a panel lampshade. Reinforcement techniques for medium panels, and framing of panels with zinc came, box making and panel lampshade construction will also be demonstrated. Guided construction of chosen projects will be ongoing in each session. Notes based on the skills presented in Intermediate Stained Glass Class will be provided for each participant to take home along with their completed projects. Intermediate class offers an opportunity to increase skills, create projects share ideas, and fellowship with other stained glass enthusiasts. Join us to enjoy these six, action-packed, pleasant evenings!

Marianne Rooks is a teacher and stained glass artisan who has facilitated many others in craft activities and skills mastery. She now devotes herself full time to stained glass work, and produces lamps, panels, and boxes in her local studio.

PLEASE NOTE: Most classes meet over multiple weeks. If space is available, instructors are often able to add new students at the second class of a multi-week class.
