Beginning Painting
Beginning Watercolor Painting
Watercolor painting is open to all levels of creative individuals. There is absolutely no experience required. The first classes will cover a basic introduction to color theory and concepts of drawing and painting.
We will then begin to develop each individuals interests in art while building a foundation of watercolor painting techniques. We will complete the course with a finished piece with content of your choosing. This class will be open to abstract and non-representational imagery as well as representational, figurative and landscape imagery.
There is no right or wrong subject matter just as there is no right or wrong way to paint! Come enjoy the summer by learning a fun and easily accessible way to dabble in creativity. You will be given a start-up watercolor kit included in the registration fee ( $60. value). Other materials may be needed depending on personal interests.
