Intermediate Sewing
Students should have previous experience with sewing and the sewing machine. This class will include the application of a zipper, waistband, set-in sleeves and buttonholes, including the construction of a skirt or slacks and a blouse or jacket and more as time allows. Several sewing machines will be available for class work and each student will have a turn on a serger. You are also encouraged to bring your own sewing machine or serger.

Baben Patricelli has a BS in Home Economics Education from Barry University and an MFA in Fashion Design and Interior Design from Florida State. She has taught on the Junior High, High School, Community and Junior College, and Adult Education levels, along with writing and illustrating magazine and newspaper articles and textbooks on fashion and good grooming.
PLEASE NOTE: Most classes meet over multiple weeks. If space is available, instructors are often able to add new students at the second class of a multi-week class.
